Privacy Policy OUTLAST

Data protection is a matter of trust and your trust is important to us. You know us (or want to get to know us better): We test and sell products that make us happy and offer service as if we were the customer ourselves. The same applies to your privacy. We respect your privacy and personal sphere and treat your data with care. So that you can feel safe on our website, we strictly observe the legal provisions when using your personal data. How we do this? The following data protection declaration explains which data is collected on our website. If you still have questions after reading this Privacy Policy, please feel free to contact us at info.outlast@yahoo.com

We store your data in a secure environment and protect it with the latest technologies. Our employees are aware of the content of data protection laws and we do everything we can to comply with them. Of course, we take the privacy of our customers into account.

Third-party providers on our website (you can read why we do this below) will only pass on your information if they treat it with the same care as we do and will only use it for the purpose for which it was given to us. If, despite everything, you still see room for improvement, you are welcome to send an email to info.outlast@yahoo.com.

For what purpose do we collect this data?

In order for us to be able to deliver your order, we need your address or that of the recipient.

order processing

  • In order to be able to process the order correctly, we use your personal data (name, address, place of residence). This data is stored by us if you want to return products or for warranty purposes.

  • Insofar as this is necessary for proper order processing, we can also pass on your personal data to third parties, e.g. B. pass on our carriers.

payment processing

  • In order to be able to process the payment of the order correctly, a payment method must be selected. This payment information is shared with your service provider and bank, not with us.

communication

  • In order to facilitate the communication of your order and/or other questions, we use your contact details. This information and the content of communications between you and us is stored in a secure environment.

  • Through our web shop we offer you the opportunity to ask questions via various channels (e.g. chat, email, telephone and social media). It is up to you which data you make available to us.

Fulfillment of the legal obligation

  • In order to comply with our legal obligation, we store the history of your order, including the payment data, within the statutory period. According to the tax office, our documents with your invoice, payment and order data must be kept for 7 years.

fraud prevention

  • In order to prevent misuse, we use your IP address, address data and payment data if there is a legitimate interest. In the event of an official request from a regulatory authority, we pass on data.

retention periods

Your personal data will be kept for as long as it is needed to process your order(s), including the guarantee. Unless there is a legal obligation that requires longer storage (e.g. the tax storage obligation mentioned above).

Transfer to third parties

We pass on your data to our partners who are involved in the processing of our business. Under no circumstances may they use the data for purposes other than those specified by us. The secure processing of your data is guaranteed by an editorial agreement between Outlast and the partner. We feel committed to that. If we are not satisfied, we will stop working together.

Our web shop contains social media buttons. These buttons only represent a link and do not pass on any personal data to third parties. With the possibility of logging in via a social media account, the social media partner shares the e-mail address associated with the user account.

security

We take technical and organizational security measures to prevent misuse and unauthorized access to personal data. Our internet connection is secured with SSL (Secure Socket Layer). Access to our database is restricted through secure accounts. Our employees are aware of the new data protection regulations and comply with them.

What is your data NOT used for?

We do NOT create personalized offers: the prices are the same for everyone. That's how honest we are.

We do NOT sell your data to third parties. We sell knives, pans, flashlights, power banks and much more.

Your data will NOT be published. In the event of a data breach, all parties involved have an obligation to remedy the breach and, if necessary, the relevant authority and you will be informed as soon as possible.

Accessing and changing your data

You can contact us at any time via info.outlast@yahoo.com to access (or delete) your personal data. In order to prevent misuse, we ask you to identify yourself sufficiently. We want to prevent someone else from being in control of your data. It is best to send your request by email.

Do you disagree with anything?

Of course, we are happy to help in the event of complaints about the processing of your personal data. Don't you agree?
